Thanks James, I was actually about to ask this question.
I just got back from a trip to Tucson and had my 560x set to boot to the
PC card (Dos 7.0) so I could run the PIM emulator from my HP palmtop
(which I actually left home).
This allowed me to get to my phone numbers and airline information
without waiting for Win98 to load but I still had the WIN98 splash screen.
The plan now is to put the card and socket services from the above URL
onto a DOS 6.22 boot floppy so I can format the card to DOS 6.22.
This should boot faster than DOS 7.0 and will also allow me to delete
certain IE droppings that WIN98 won't let me see.
Again thanks for the help, I'm just recommending a Thinkpad for my
brother in part because of IBM's excellent support for their older
models and in part because of this list.
