This is why I asked about other network adapters; it's a note from the text file accompanying Access Connections 3.0. I want to make
sure that you'd tried uninstalling others.
-IBM 11a/b/g Wireless CardBus Adapter cannot be used on
ThinkPads equipped with internal Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 2100
3B Mini PCI Adapter at the same time.
Please disable the internal wireless adapter using the
following steps:
1. Start Windows 2000/XP and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Click "Start", "Settings", then "Control Panel"
3. Click "Add or Remove Programs"
4. Click "Intel(R) Sebring API"
listed under "Currently installed programs"
5. Click "Remove" and follow the instructions on the screen.
6. Restart the system
If you would like to use the internal Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 2100
3B Mini PCI Adapter again, please enable it using the following steps:
1. Start Windows 2000/XP and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Click "Start", then "Run"
3. Type "C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\WLLANINT\APPS\API\SebrngApi.exe"
4. Click "OK" and follow the instructions on the screen.
5. Restart the system
