[Thinkpad] Hard Drive Firmware version 8 has been released

The "this screwed up my drive" A5BA version of the HD firmware is now listed
quite publically for both the 5K80 and 7K60 series drives.

I'm still interactively talking to the IBM tech (and forwarded him an email
address with someone that HAS the "proper" drive and is still having a
problem) so I'm completely confused as to what this all means. I mean they
could have fixed the problem and just neglected to update the firmware
version but I doubt that would be the case...

I would test this myself but my formerly mauled 60GB drive is on it's way to
an RMA department, and my original 40GB drive has since been reformated to
be non-predesktop-less, since I was only using it as an external HD for
backup.

Besides, even if I still had the 60GB drive the regular install would see
the same version (and tell me I didn't need a reflash) so I would have to
muck with the FW.PRO file, which still may not have worked.

I'm still perplexed but the mess that this has become.
