Sitting here reading about batteries (on my desktop) seems to have jinxed my own X21 battery. I rarely run on battery, except for a
few minutes here and there, when the charge usually drops from 99-100% on AC to 95-97% unplugged. A little while ago I took the
battery out for a minute (just to read the info on it) and replaced it. Then I unplugged the AC and the screen went black! When I
finally teased the LCD back on, I saw why -- the charge was 1%! That was 10 minutes ago. I plugged the AC back in and it now shows a
charge of 83%. Battery information reveals that it's got 40 cycles on it, 18.5 charge capacity of the original 23 and that it's in
good health.

Anyone know what would cause such a precipitous drop and 15-minute recovery?
