and all other Thinkpad users.
I have just read the quite outstanding letter of intent and must say
CONGRATULATIONS
on a well put together and thought out analysis of the current OS
situation.
As you know Im also hold this point of view and wish to inform all
other IBM users that will read this reply,
Im a thinkpad reseller here in the UK. and,
I will be the hardware arm of this plan for Europe having already made
the arrangements for the procurement of the Thinkpads that David and I
plan to sell with OS2 preloaded.
Time will tell if we get any response from Big Blue, I cant even guess
what it might be.
There is a sure way of course, to get a very rapid response!! from IBM.
Thats to just go ahead and put OS2 anyway on Thinkpads, and make as much
noise about it as you can.
They will be on the phone within days, you could bet on it!!.
I look forward to taking on IBM as soon as I get the chance.
