[Thinkpad] So Scott, why *do* you need Windows 2000?

Hi Scott (Matthews),

I'm dying of curiosity... You never did mention why it is that you need
Windows 2000 on your ThinkPad in the first place. For the Web development
that you do (nice job on Andromeda!), I would expect that Windows XP would
work equally well or better.

Could you say something about the Windows 2000 requirement?

p.s. Folks, not trying to start another OS war here. :-) But obviously, if
Scott were able to use XP, there wouldn't be all of these problems getting
stuff to work under Win2K.
