Here are the instructions for making the 128 Mb RAM work in a 560x with
Win98. I can't say if this actually works so be careful...

Sure Andrew!
Appreciate your inquiry on an auction For the Animals! :O) The instructions
are as follows.
If you want to add a single 128MB EDO memory module to ThinkPad
385XD/560X series with Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME, you need to change
memory address as follows (no problem in case of Windows 2000/XP):
1. Go to Control Panel > choose System > Device Manager.
2. Highlight NeoMagic MagicGraph 128 XD adapters > select Properties >
choose Resources tab.
3. Uncheck Use Automatic Setting on the Resources tab page.
4. Highlight under Resource type: Memory Range.
5. Choose Change Setting.
6. Assign a new memory range value.
----08000000-08FFFFFF ------> F8000000-F8FFFFFF
----09200000-093FFFFF ------> F9200000-F93FFFFF
----09000000-090FFFFF ------> F9000000-F90FFFFF
7. Choose OK > OK > Close.
8. Reboot your system
9. Shut down the machine and disconnect the AC adapter.
10. Add the memory module to the laptop.
11. Reboot your system. Done! :O)
Good Luck! And Happy eBaying!
Vicky
