There are two main reasons for this. First because it can be used in an
easy chair for comfort and second because it is less intimidating. Oooh!
And third because there are much fewer wires. Just phone and sometimes
power.
I know newer machines have much nicer screens. My only complaint about my
600X is that the viewing angle is essentialy negative. There is NO angle
at which I can see all of the screen well, especially with dim images.
That's just too bad, as he's never used a computer before. If he likes it,
and uses it enough to form some opinions about what he'd like, I may shop
for that later.
Does anyone besides Apple make a wireless access point that will call a
dialup ISP?
