[Thinkpad] T2* White Screen Problem

I am having a problem with my T22 where the LCD screen appears all white
when i turn it on.
I have read through the archives and seen some of the other solutions , but
i know that my problem
is different. I can tell you that lcd cable is not loose. And i can tell
you that the LCD panel is good. THe problem lies some where on the MB. If i
connect it to an ext monitor, the computer is working. But still , the lcd
is white unless i have hit Fn-F7 to put it in crt only mode.

does anyone have any solutions?
