Subject: [Thinkpad] t41 + xp + DriveImage 7
Have a 30 GB, and want to replace with 60 GB
Put the 60GB in the ultraslim carrier, partitioned it,
backed up C:\ of 30GB to a partition on the 60GB
replace the 30GB internal with 60GB
boot with PowerQuest Resore Enviroment.
restore the c:\ image in the backup partition to the first partition,
marked as active, everything verified, no errors in restore process.
reboot
Windows XP Pro splash screen, BSODs with a hex error code, goes to the win
boot menu (or whatever it's called), choose "normal" or "safe mode" and get
win splash screen and BSOD. repeat forever
Anybody know what's going on?
thanks
Len
