If I remember an article I read a while ago correctly, yes, you can just
go buy a Dothan and stick it in place of your Banias. However, I doubt
it would be worth the hundreds of $s for the slight performance increase
:-P (Plus, you'd be left with an Banias, although I suppose you could
build a desktop with it). See
