[Thinkpad] T4x Lust

Hello,

I just looked at that preview for the T42p and oh my! 1 inches of
desire!.... ;-)

Ahem.

So. Apart from the depth, I am seriously considering an upgrade for my
T23 which works very nice presently, which is:

Pentium III 1.13GHz
20GB Hard disk
14.1" XGA TFT
512MB RAM
DVD drive internal

I'm seriously considering a T40 or maybe T41; with at least 512MB, an
SXGA display (unless such an XGA one can be found at a significantly
good price), and any Pentium-M speed.

I am wondering what is a good price for something in this range?

The main reason I am intrigued by the T4x series is the mere 1"
thickness and the general look looks superb.

My only reservation is the apparent lack of no built in RS232 port.

To sum up Whats a Good price for:

- T40/T41
- SXGA 14.1" display
- Internal combo drive not necessary, just DVD is fine
- Windows XP Professional
- 30GB+ Hard Disk
- 512MB RAM
- 10/100Mbit ethernet built in
- Wireless not a necessity
- Pentium-M from 1.3GHz or faster.

Anybody know of good UK dealers to, apart from the usual suspect - eBay?
