>From the cursory looking around that I've been doing it seems like the
batteries on these things require specialised attention. I'd like to do what
I can to baby the battery along. what is the proper way to do this,or
alternatively ( if it is more comfortable) what should one not do to a
laptop battery ( barring the obvious; storing them in a roaring fireplace
and so on) ? If there is a website faq that I could be pointed to, I'd be
happy as a clam. I also wonder proper ways to clean the screens on these
things.
I have the thinkpad 600e. This is my first laptop. I am extremely
comfortable with desktops but these seem to have a few specialised needs
that need to be addressed. If there are any other specialised care for
laptop pointers I'd be appreciative.
TIA
Alisa
