Any suggestions how to do the partitioning (it sees that XP pro's onboard
programs do not allow to change the size of the one partition already in
use)? I would of course prefer a solution which does not make me invest some
60$ for partition magic.
I did this on my T41. First, you make an image of the current c: drive.
(This won't include IBM's hdden partition.) I did this after I cleaned up
the stock installation and configured it the way I wanted.
Next, you partition the drive. See http://fdisk.radified.com/ (This should
not affect the hidden partition.)
Then, you install the image to the new c:\ partition.
