Interesting--I never heard of using nail polish remover (non-acetone duly
noted!) on a ThinkPad.

I think most nail polish removers have fragrances in them, which I wouldn't
like myself (harmonica players don't like getting perfume on their hands).
So I stick with the classic approach: Isopropyl rubbing alcohol (NOT
denatured rubbing alcohol, which usually contains acetone!) mixed 50-50 with
water, and a clean 100% cotton dishtowel to wash and dry. For stubborn oily
spots I wet my finger, rub it on a bar of Ivory soap, rub that oneo the oily
spot, then wipe off the soap with the alcohol mix.

p.s. Bruce, Paul and Joshua send their thanks for the ThinkPad. Paul was a
bit worried, dealing with someone he didn't know, but I saw them this
morning and they were all smiles! (Joshua was valedictorian at West Valley
College, so he had more than one reason to smile.)
