Hello:

The "feedback" you see on your LCD during boot will depend on the boot
devices and the boot order; this is information that is configured via the
F1 (BIOS setup) key. As to your specific output, I would expect this given
your 'lack of OS'.

Is your Windows 98 CD Bootable?

If so, I would recommend that you go into setup (F1) check the boot devices
and
boot order and verify that the CD device is included ('listed') as a boot
device to be checked. While not required, you may wish to change the boot
order to CDROM first.
