I never said you were wrong. I was just clarifying that Crucial is
being conservative by specifying parts that will work reliably
regardless of BIOS patches and other potential gotchas. Your additional
information about other, more specific, memory configurations that work
for some 600s will undoubtedly be referred to in future discussions of
the list archive by those folks looking for the ultimate way to max out
their 600E. I'm sure the original poster appreciates your info as well.
