Bonjour !
I have been using Debian Sid on my laptop for a while, making an heavy
use of ACPI suspend to RAM. Everything was working fine till very
recently :
I have a dual head setup on a radeon M7500 (Mobility M7), using the
laptop flat panel (lvds) and a desktop flat panel (tmds).
Switching to suspend mode makes the laptop panel to go all fuzzy, then
shutdown (normal) but I can't get it back to a normal display at resume,
the external LCD monitor is just fine however.
I tried to Ctrl-Alt-Fx many times, re-suspend/resume, etc, but the panel
remains all messed up.
I also noticed that while I was running a dual screen session under X
(two independant displays), the framebuffer (clone mode) is also
unusable (display is also really messed up).
Any idea where this could come from and I should handle this ?
I'm using a decent kernel (2.6.9), the X radeon driver the latest xserver
from sid.
See the attached X rcfile, it might be the source of the problem.
I also have to check some BIOS settings, just in case, as I recently
change some (hopefully unrelated).
