That seemed to be related to this "HVexpansion settings". Once turned to
"Off" suspend/resume is working fine. However, there is a side effect.
Actually, I would like to point out another problem encountered while
using an video projector with windows. As this is my work laptop, I have
windows shipped with, I use it on a month basis, mostly when I bring my
laptop to some meetings where ppl need powerpoint, or something similar.
Recently, I had to use a video projector with windows and the IBM thingy
did change some bios parameters for the video so that when I rebooted,
grub appeared like a 640x480 window on a 1024x768 screen : small.
I did try to find a workaround and finally decided to reset the bios to
its original settings, which did the trick.
Now, turning HVExpansion to "Off" made this strange "small grub"
behaviour to reappear. Am I missing something about BIOS, VBE, VESA, X ?
I would definitly like this BIOS not to be accessible by the OS :/
