Hi,

Would be grateful if anyone can help me out with this.

Using a X31 with a mpci cisco 802.11b, running XP SP2
I have a Linksys WRT54G and a Dlink range extender 800ap+

Problem:
When I connect to the WRT54G, all is fine no problem but when i go out of
range and the 800ap+ takes over. IBM Access Connections report that i have
excellent signal strength but I can't connect to the internet or any of the
other PCs in the house. However when I plugged in an Orinoco Gold PC Card
to the X31, I can connect to the 800ap+ and still have internet and network
connections.

Does anyone have an idea why this is so? Why can the pc card connect the
internet while the built-in wireless can't, even if it shows excellent
signal strength.

Thanks in Advance
Erwin
