I think don't bother with trying to get 1.1 working, I wasted a long
time doing that, and it appeared to set up ok but I could never get it
to do anything useful. I could create a 5G partion and copy a 100K file,
but if I tried to create the 160G partition I wanted or copy a real file
the driver would go to sleep.
I brought a USB 2.0 cardbus adapter and used ehci_hcd and never looked back.
