Probably (the machine has been fallen on the floor at least twice).

In my machine the power port is very sturdily affixed to the board
(which doesn't mean that it can't break, of course), especially when I
compare that to an old Toshiba laptop we have (it has been in repair
twice for power port related problems, IIRC). Overall I found the
internal design of the machine to be surprisingly good. Remember that
it's an i-Series.
