It may be that in your situation, it would seem like that IS what ThinkPads
will be called... but that doesn't make it right at all...

I wonder why the terms biggot, racist, xenophobe, small-minded (and others
that I can't think of at the moment) don't carry the same weight as the
terms that _those kinds_ of people come up with to create an artificial
feeling of supiority over another ethnic group.

I suspect you are correct though... as America (and other first world
nations) manuver themselves out of the job market in favor of less developed
countries around the world, many People are going to resort to this kind of
artificial degradation.... rather than pulling their fingers out and
figuring out a way to maintain relevence...

But enabling racist talk by discussing it as if it's acceptable is just
putting yourself in that camp...

First of all, I am glad it was not me that said it!!!
But lets all step back and take a deep breath.
Most people truly do not realize that the implied term is offensive, and I
am certain that no offense was meant.
Also, inevitably, that IS what ThinkPads are gonna be called after the sale,
like it or not, some folks really don't care about sensibilities.
