I never said this was turning into an OS war... I just said these types
of discussions never lead to anything good because it turns into two
groups defending themselves (or disparaging the other) and not putting
forth any new ideas that would really benefit someone. My original
message on the topic was trying to help the guy without making turning
the discussion about an OS.
