The problem with the digest form is that you have to scan through all
messages to see the ones you like. As long as people properly title
their post, anyone with a good email program can effortlessly avoid
off-topic posts.
I think OS wars and the like are not really appropriate for this list,
but I don't see that getting browser X working on a thinkpad is that
much different from getting pcmcia card X working on a thinkpad from the
point of view of questions.
