[Thinkpad] T40 speed

Hi!
I recently purchased a T40 off Ebay, and i am wondering will i feel a
big boost in performance from my desktop.

Desktop:
P4 2.0
512mb RAM
80gb 7200 RPM
Intel Integrated Graphics (not even intel extreme...)

T40:
PM 1.5
768mb RAM
40gb 4200 RPM
7550 32mb Video (yeah, i know it sucks)
