Thinkpad content? The original DVD drive on my 600E does not
read data DVD-Rs. But it has no problem with CD-Rs or CD-RWs.
Later (i.e., current) DVD drives should have no problems with
DVD-Rs.

Hello,

I found that the 2x DVD drive will not read DVD-R or DVD-RW.
The 6x DVD drive will read DVD-R but not DVD-RW. I got a
Toshiba CD-RW/DVD drive and it will read both DVD-R and DVD-RW.
