[Thinkpad] Is thinkpad 600E -> 600X transformation possible?

and TIA. On 04/22/2004, Matt and Angus discussed the logistics of a
motherboard swap (this forum) and ebay sellers discuss the possibilities of
a lower assembly swap. Can someone elaborate on the following:

600E vs 600X major differences particularly in the area of bus speed, vram,
bios, and max CPU.

Are the display resolutions the same? Also are the interfaces (video and
cabling) compatible?
