The lower case is totally different. You can pull the LCD off a 600 or 600e and put it onto a 600X, but you can not swap motherboards.
Anyway, these machines are obsolete. Just buy a T series. A warrantied 600X motherboard will cost you at least $170 on Ebay, most of them don't work, and you are close to a T20 at that price.
