I've been looking for a similar solution and this does look interesting.

I do wonder how long this battery pack will actually power a working
machine.
For @$50us it may be worth a try.
When I'm working in the field I use an UltraBay battery to augment my
main battery and am getting @4 hrs of use. This setup usually gets me
through a normal day, but occasionally I need to plug in. I do basically
always have AC power available it's just inconvenient to be tethered by
the cords.
Another battery note:
I recently exchanged my old T-23 battery at batteryrefill.com for @$55us
and can report very good results so far. They shipped a refilled IBM
battery and accepted my dying original in exchange. Also they were a
pleasure to deal with when I called to ask if they would ship first,
since I couldn't be battery-less during the exchange.
They also have refilled UtraBay batteries for a good price.
