[Thinkpad] TP 560 error beep?

Hi,

I'm trying to find why an old 560 won't boot -- and there is nothing in
the hardware manual that covers this;

-- At power up, there is one long beep, then a short beep. -- That code
is not in the hardware manual.

-- It also gives a harddrive access lamp and the power lamp. Nothing
else.

-- I cannot access the BIOS.

--CMOS battery voltage is 3.0V 2.5 to 3.7 is normal.

--I took the harddrive out, and still get the same beeps, no boot.

--Reseated the LCD cable. Same beeps. No boot.

Its been sitting in a file case for a couple of years and worked the last
time it was booted. Any ideas on what I'm missing?
