genuinely depends on what type of results you want, how much time and/or
money you want to spend.
impedence matching among the various electrical components (assuming you're
not planning on sticking a radio shack dynamic in front of the speakers)
becomes your first concern. Various vinyl (of various manfc & vintages) had
different EQ emphasis curves that theoretically should be de-emphasized for
CD play back
then there is the various mechanical noise associated with vinyl that seems
more disturbing via CD
anyway there are strategies for nearly every pocket book and obcessive
compulsive level . . . but no one size fits all.
