My experience with the device wasn't 100%
The AC adapter wouldn't power all 3 1/2" hard drives.
(it's a 2 amp; whereas some others I've seen reviewed can provide as high
as 3amps)
The USB/IDE cable is quite a handy item in and of itself, and should be a
"must-have" item for any one who claims an above average degree of
geekitude. LOL
So for the drives that the small power supply can't manage, I rigged a
switchable ATX power supply for my bench. If anyone knows where a better IDE
power adapter is avalable, please let me know.
