Geeze, so jumpy... he can contact whoever he pleases for work on the
machine depending on his relationships with either IBM or the retailer,
really doesn't make a lick of difference to me, AFAIK the retailer has a
not-satisfed complete replacement for machines less than 30 days old
policy. I can imagine cases where each are the right route, the point
of my response was to say that the behavior he was seeing was not
similar to my experience with the same machine and to confirm his
concerns that there was something wrong with his fingerprint reader.
