If the product received is defective, I don't think for a minute that any
list member/reseller would stiff you. Never heard of anything like that
taking place here on the list. Bruce Markowitz and Bill Morrow have stellar
reputations here. (You two can send Candygrams for that endorsement)

If you're simply experimenting with an idea of returning the component if
things don't work out to your satsfaction, that may be a whole 'nother
thing.

Many resellers, including CDW (Computer Discount Warehouse), will NOT accept
an IBM part in return. They have signs in their showrooms posted for several
OEM's stating that any returns or exchanges are to be done directly with the
manufacturer.
