Sorry I didn't follow up earlier, what I did in the end was take
the IP address for DNS that I was getting when dialled-up and stuck
that in for when I was going through the router. Seems to work
though I suppose it's inelegant.
Maybe a factory reset on the router would work, but I don't want to
mess with what's (sort of) working.
