If your 80GB disk size shows a capacity of just 40GB then you have a
partition which is smaller than the physical drive and it must be resized.
1) Right-click on My Computer and choose Manage.
2) Select Disk Management
3) If there are more than one physical disks shown on the top half of the
right hand panel, click to highlight C:.
3) Tell us what you read on the lower right hand panel, both on the left
side under Disk0 and the right side which describes any partitions.
