According to my Dell repair manual, there is no PPX model. Do you mean CPx,
or XPX?
Does the computer have a Service Tag number of from six to 10 digits? Other
identifying information.
If the Service Tag number has been removed, it could be a stolen model or a
refurb that was not authorized by Dell because it was discarded as not
repairable.
