[Thinkpad] disk upgrade for x41?

my x41 laptop is frustratingly slow when it comes to disk access.
apparently it has a 4200 rpm disk. does anyone know if there is a way
to upgrade the disk to a faster one? i don't care if the battery life
goes down.
