If I was one of them I'm sure I would not put the working drive into the
ordinary USPS mail and address it to some unknown person just because they
claimed they would do a good job of data destruction. Indeed I probably
would be working in a place where just taking a drive off-site prior to
certified destruction would be serious (and maybe a criminal) offence.
