With all this trip down memory lane, I was inspired to pen the following!

Boy the way Steve Miller played,
songs that made Rock Concert great,
geeks like us would invent the blade,
those were the days.

And you knew your code back then,
RAM was DRAM floppy disks were in,
mister we could use a man like Alan Shugart again!

Didn't need eight digit dates,
everybody cried baud rate,
gee his TRS ran great,
Those were the days!

The first personal hard drive I ever had hands-on experience with was for
(gasp!) a TRS-80 Model I about 24 years ago. 5MB for only $5000. Woohoo!!!

I guess hard drive prices have come down a little since then. ;-)
