Bruce, does that apply to all models? I've seen notice of the two
leading characters elsewhere, but usually it says to pad them with
zeroes. (I might be using it on a T20.)
The text file in the archive (not by IBM, of course) says
something that makes even less sense than the zeroes:
> your system-type serial number: 2663-4RF FS-324RF
> enter it as: XX26634RFFS324RF
