Re: [Thinkpad] z61e running linux won't shutdown

Try the desktop kernel. I don't use Ubuntu, but the server-oriented kernel
might not have ACPI support, which will prevent it from shutting down the
computer properly (most computers will halt then, though...)

One idea to try...
