I don't know why my MIT scheme (Edwin) has been so slowly in responding to the keyboard input. I tried to re-install it, remove all new installed software,.etc, but still don't improve. Anybody ever encounter or hear about this situation? Ying-Chou Sun -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Why not download version 7.7, which is the latest version, and trying it to see if you get the same behavior. ================================== Laurence F. Savannah is a programming development site that provides support services for collaborative free-software programming projects. The purpose of this move is to improve MIT Scheme by making it easier for others to contribute. I don't have time to do much with MIT Scheme these days, but I know there are others who would be willing to help out. At present, the CVS archives and the 7.7.1 binary files have been moved. The new home page is nearly finished, and some of the new mailing lists have been set up. Some more work remains to be done, but I expect the move to be finished next month. One note of warning: the project is not in its final location yet. I've asked to have MIT Scheme declared part of the GNU project. If and when that that is approved, the current services will be moved to the ".gnu.org" domain. (Note that being part of the GNU project doesn't affect any of the program's licensing -- MIT will remain the copyright holder on this code.) For the time being, the project page is https://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/mit-scheme/ When the migration nears completion, I will be shutting down this mailing list. (Actually, redirecting this email address to one of the new lists.) Prior to that, I'll send another message to this list describing how you can move your subscription.
