Someone has probably switched off the HP logo in the BIOS ("quietboot" or something) but F2 should still work, if that's the correct key. Once in the BIOS, check to see whether there are any interesting video settings... +++++++++++++++++++ COMMENT: The HP Omnibook 600C doesn't have a BIOS in the traditional sense.
