[OmniBook] Omnibook 4150 LCD screen replacement

Find someone selling the 4150 service manual on CD on eBay and buy it. I found the manual for the OB500 pretty easily. These manuals used to be available as .pdf files at hp.com if you dug deep enough, but lately it seems they don't care about supporting their products to that level for the general public.

Better yet, just buy yourself a used 4150 for $50 on ebay and save all the trouble. Why on earth would you put so much work into such an old machine?

Try looking your model (and it's specific part number) up on

  http://partsurfer.hp.com

You might be able to determine the display model you need and then it will
probably come with replacement instructions.

Good Luck,
