Of course I own a Microsoft license for XP Pro. Unfortunately, HP is unable to provide a replacement because they say that it is out of stock. I was able to create an installation cd using XP-iso-builder. I used an old i386 folder from a backup and the XP pro cd of my new Acer notebook. Anyway, some information seem to be missing. I have trouble connecting to the local notework and the video driverthat I downloaded from Intel cannot be used. Can anyone help with a copy of his recovery cd or is there a link to download the necessary files to run the systems. Go to http://www.hp.com/ and enter "Omnibook XE3 F3975J" in the search field at the top. You will get a link to the Software & driver downloads where you should find all necessary drivers for your omnibook (there's even a driver package!)
